Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr. (born 26 July 1993), known professionally as Stormzy, is a British rapper, singer and songwriter. In 2014, he gained attention on the UK underground music scene through his Wicked Skengman series of freestyles over classic grime beats

Stormzy received widespread praise for his collaboration with Cambridge University.

He announced he would pay for the undergraduate fees of two students this year and two next year – as well as offering a maintenance grants, for up to four years, Stormzy told those gathered at his book launch the idea was first presented to Oxford University

Stormzy's scholarship will help two black students study at Cambridge

Earlier this year the rapper from Croydon received widespread praise for his collaboration with Cambridge University. he claims he went to Oxford first with the offer. The 25-year-old announced he would pay for the undergraduate fees of two students this year and two next year – as well as offering them maintenance grants, for up to four years. Last night, he told those gathered at his book launch the idea was first presented to Oxford University.
